If you have a property that had water service to it provided by the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department but for some reason, the meter was removed, you must have a water meter set on the existing service. Please note that this assumes there are no changes proposed to the existing use of the property; if you plan to change the existing use of the property, go to this page.
In order to do that, you must submit the following to the WASD New Business Office at either the LeJeune building, 3575 S. LeJeune Road (south of US-1) or the Miami-Dade Permitting and Inspection Center (MDPIC) at 11805 SW 26 Street in west Miami-Dade:

- Name
- Mailing address
- Social Security number or Federal Tax Identification number
- Daytime Phone Number
Property Information:
- Project Address
- A legal description of the property
- The folio number(s) of the property (this can be obtained by searching the County's property records at on the Property Appraiser's website
- Type and number of units of existing structures on the property.
- A sewage flow allocation letter from the Miami-Dade Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) OR a septic tank approval letter from the Miami-Dade Department of Health (DOH) (This is only required if there is a change to the existing use of the property)
- The appropriate fee; fees are calculated at time of request
