The cause of the water main break has not yet been determined.  Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) crews are on the scene to assess the damage and make repairs.  Repairs are expected to take until about 9:00 p.m. tonight.  Two of three eastbound lanes (going in towards Virginia Key and Key Biscayne) will be closed to traffic, to allow workers to effect repairs.  

As of 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, there were no reports of lost water service on Virginia Key or Key Biscayne.
