The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department is proud to offer some of the lowest water and sewer rates across the country and is consistently looking for ways to provide quality service to our customers. The current rate structure encourages water conservation and remains low for most single and multi-family residences customers who have a low to average consumption.
A South Florida Water Management District Water Restriction Surcharge (SFWMD) will be imposed for customers using 18 ccf (hundred cubic feet) and over. This surcharge increases based of the phase of water restrictions imposed by SFWMD on the Department to achieve the level of reduced water demands.
