Thanks to the People’s Transportation Plan (PTP), Miami-Dade Transit now offers a full range of transportation services at several community-based centers throughout the county.
Most Transit Service Centers, conveniently located in neighborhoods around Miami-Dade County, offer the following services:

Passes - Monthly passes, including Metropass, Discount Metropass, the Golden Passport, and the Patriot Passport. Residents 65 years and older and Social Security recipients under 65 years of age ride free with the Golden Passport. Veterans earning $22,000 or less annually ride free with the Patriot Passport.

Tokens - Buy a roll of 10 tokens for $14.50 at any transit service center listed below, or buy 7 individual tokens for $10 and 14 for $20 from rail station change machines.

Special Permits/Fares - Permits available for senior citizens and people with disabilities, Medicare recipients, preschoolers and students (grades 1-12). These passengers can ride Metrobus and Metrorail at the reduced fare, or may purchase the $37.50 monthly Discount Metropass.

Special Transportation Service Certification - Service aboard vehicles designed for passengers with disabilities who are unable to use fixed transit routes.

Bike & Ride Permits - Cyclists can take a single-seat, two-wheeler on extended trips anytime and just about anywhere in Miami-Dade County on many Metrobus routes, Metrorail, and Metromover.

Job Listings - Interested persons can pick up a list of updated Miami-Dade Transit job openings.

Trip Planning - Receive regional traffic, schedule, and general transit information via an interactive voice response system.
