Orange Line Phase 3: East-West Corridor Metrorail Extension: Miami-Dade Transit is currently in the preliminary engineering phase of extending Metrorail west to SW 137 Avenue. During this phase, there will be opportunities for the public to provide input through public meetings, via phone and e-mail. This project connects Florida International University (FIU) in West Miami-Dade and Miami Intermodal Center (MIC) at the Miami International Airport (MIA) to the existing Metrorail system.
