Bus-to-Bus (includes bus-to-bus and express bus-to-bus)
When boarding, pay the $2 fare ($1 for discount-fare riders) with an EASY Card or EASY Ticket. When you board a second bus your transfer will be free if you use an EASY Card or EASY Ticket if it is within three hours from when you first tapped your card or ticket. (Not for return trips.)

When boarding a bus, pay your $2 fare ($1 for discount-fare riders) with your EASY Card or EASY Ticket. When you transfer to an express bus, the 35¢ upgrade will be deducted from your card or ticket (15¢ upgrade for discount-fare riders).

To transfer from a regular or express bus to rail, pay your initial $2 fare (or $2.35 express bus fare) with your EASY Card or EASY Ticket when boarding the bus. When you tap your EASY Card or Ticket to enter a Metrorail station, the 50¢ transfer fee will automatically be deducted from your card or ticket. Discount-fare riders pay a 25¢ transfer fee.

Rail-to-bus transfers are 50¢ (25¢ for discount-fare riders) when you use an EASY Card or EASY Ticket.
Important: Remember to tap out when you exit a Metrorail station in order for the EASY Card system to deduct your transfer fee rather than the full fare when you board the bus. No fee is deducted from your EASY Card or EASY Ticket when you tap to exit a Metrorail station.

Shuttle Bus-to-Bus
To transfer from a shuttle bus to a regular or express bus, pay your initial 25¢ fare (15¢ for discount-fare riders) with your EASY Card or EASY Ticket when boarding the shuttle bus. When you tap your EASY Card or Ticket to board a regular bus, the $1.75 upgrade (or 90¢ for discount-fare riders) will automatically be deducted from your card or ticket. A $2.10 upgrade (or $1.05 for discount-fare riders) will be deducted if transfering from a shuttle bus to an express bus.

Ride Metromover free and exit at Government Center Station or Brickell Station. Follow the signs to the Metrorail paying area. Pay your $2 ($1 for discount-fare riders) using an EASY Card or EASY Ticket. You can also pay your fare with a pass loaded on your EASY Card or EASY Ticket.

South Dade Busway-to-Rail
Effective October 1, 2009, free transfers from Busway routes to Metrorail will be discontinued. You must pay your bus fare with an EASY Card or EASY Ticket to transfer to Metrorail for 50 cents. Passengers paying with cash on the bus must pay full fare every time they board a bus or train. A map is available for the Busway in Adobe Acrobat PDF form.
