Bus-to-Bus (includes local-bus-to-local-bus and express-bus-to-local-bus)
When boarding, pay the $2 fare ($1 for discount-fare riders) with an EASY Card or EASY Ticket. Transfers are already included if your EASY Card or EASY Ticket is loaded with 1-Month, 7-Day and 1-Day passes.
When you board a second bus your transfer will be automatically deducted from your EASY Card or EASY Ticket if you are going in the same direction of travel and it is within three hours from when you first tapped your card or ticket.

| Local Bus-to-Express Bus
When boarding a local bus, pay your $2 fare. When you transfer to an express bus, the 85¢ express-bus transfer fee will be deducted from your EASY Card or EASY Ticket.
Discount-fare riders: $1 fare, 40¢ transfer fee.

| Bus-to-Rail
To transfer from a local or express bus to rail, pay your $2 fare (or $2.35 express-bus fare) with your EASY Card or EASY Ticket. When you tap your EASY Card or Ticket to enter a Metrorail station, the 50¢ transfer fee will automatically be deducted from your card or ticket. Discount-fare riders pay a 25¢ transfer fee.

Rail-to-bus transfers are available for 50¢ (25¢ for discount-fare riders) when you use an EASY Card or EASY Ticket.
Important: Remember to tap out when you exit a Metrorail station. This will indicate to the fare collection system that you have paid the Metrorail fare, thus allowing for your transfer fee to be automatically deducted from your EASY Card or EASY Ticket when you board the bus.
No fee is deducted from your EASY Card or EASY Ticket when you tap to exit a Metrorail station.

Ride Metromover free and exit at Government Center Station or Brickell Station. Follow the signs to the Metrorail paying area. Pay your $2 ($1 for discount-fare riders) using an EASY Card or EASY Ticket. You can also pay your fare with a pass loaded on your EASY Card or EASY Ticket.

| South Miami-Dade Busway
Effective October 1, 2009, free transfers from Busway routes to Metrorail will be discontinued. You must pay your bus fare with an EASY Card or EASY Ticket to transfer to Metrorail for 50 cents. Passengers paying with cash on the bus must pay full fare every time they board a bus or train. Read more here (PDF).
