The Public Involvement Initiative Plan consists of the following:

Form and maintain a public involvement coalition board.

Formulate goals and objectives to guide, develop, and address community issues.

Hold public workshops, meetings, forums, town hall meetings, etc.

Publish a newsletter, "On Track," to be used as a handout for meetings, etc.

Maintain a website link to the following information: past and current newsletters, meeting dates, and agendas.

Enhance public awareness of important meetings and workshops via PSAs, fliers, etc.
-
Involve low-income and minority communities throughout the planning and implementation process.
-
Organize and manage the Speakers Bureau.
