The Small and Minority Business Outreach Program, an economic development program aimed at improving the competitive capability of small and disadvantaged businesses, provides the necessary tools and experience for small, minority-owned businesses to compete across markets.
The transportation surtax enables Miami-Dade Transit to invest several billions of dollars in infrastructure, including engineering, design and construction, while providing the highest quality of service to our community. To that end, MDT understands and believes in the importance of a very strong and competent small business sector, is committed to their success, and provides the following assistance:

Identifying and locating working capital.

Developing strategic marketing and business plans.

Information on available and upcoming MDT contract opportunities.
