This project is a partnership between Miami-Dade Transit and the Miami-Dade Housing Agency through the MDHA Development Corporation.

The proposed project consists of a 3-story, 54-unit, low-income elderly housing facility; a 4-story parking garage of approximately 135 spaces for MDT bus patrons and adjacent bus stop area.

The project seeks to address the community's urgent need for affordable housing for the elderly and to situate that housing in direct proximity to transit. Additionally, the project seeks to make public transportation more convenient to the general public, as the parking garage will attract riders from a large radius in the surrounding community. This site will serve both existing bus routes and future routes.
