Citizens Advisory Committee

A crucial component of the North Corridor Preliminary Engineering public involvement process is the Citizens Advisory Committee. The CAC mission is to articulate community concerns and for committee members to share project milestones with their respective constituencies. As an advisory board, the CAC offers recommendations to the study team and ensures that key issues, as they pertain to the study area, are addressed and responded to in a timely and efficient manner.

The CAC, which meets regularly, monitors the study process to ensure that it remains open and fair. Ultimately, the CAC may make its recommendations to the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners.
