Right-of-Way
Right-of-way (ROW) acquisition is an on-going process. The list of parcels affected by the project is based on the final design plans. As of March 11, 2008, there are a total of thirty-seven (37) parcels (including a portion of SR 112) which need to be acquired to accommodate the Project.
A total of forteen (14) parcels have been acquired by Miami-Dade County.
Eight (8) parcels are currently in various stages of acquisition by Miami-Dade Transit (MDT).
Twelve (12) parcels are owned by the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority (MDX) and are available for joint use by both MDX and MDT.
Three (3) parcels are owned by governmental agencies.
The Miami-Dade Public Works Department is in the process of acquiring the necessary remaining properties for the Project.
