An RPQ has been issued for work. The project consists of re-roofing two existing Cruise Terminals, F and G, at PortMiami. The work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, and all other items necessary for the removal of all existing roofing and insulation materials in flat roofs and s-shaped roofs of Cruise Terminals F and G and the proper disposal thereof.

PortMiami the New Florida Homeport for Disney Cruise Line
PortMiami is looking forward to welcoming Disney Cruise Line as the latest addition to its cruise fleet. This is the first time a Disney ship will operate from a South Florida port. The Disney Wonder will begin sailing in December 2012 from PortMiami with four and five - night itineraries to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
The Miami-Dade County Commission has approved the Port of Miami's purchase of four additional Super-Post Panamax cranes. The new cranes are necessary to accommodate the larger containerized cargo vessels that will traverse the expanded Panama Canal in 2014. The Port of Miami currently has nine cranes, two of which are Super-Post-Panamax cranes.
Port of Miami and the Panama Canal Authority Sign Agreement Aimed at Expanding Trade
The Port of Miami and the Panama Canal Authority signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Oct. 27 between the two entities that will promote new business growth via the all water route between Asia and North America's East Coast via the expanded Panama Canal.
