    EOC Support Staff

Limited positions are available within the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).  The atmosphere may become fast-paced and require multi-tasking.  This work is indoors, on 12-hour shifts or more, day and night, weekends and may occur before, during and after an emergency.  Positions include document runners, data entry, clerical support and management work.  Office and computer skills are necessary.

EOC support staff will also fulfill the roles of the DAE Command Team.  This Command Team will act as the conduit of information between the EOC, the Hotline and DAEs in the field.  This Team will help to coordinate activities, allocate resources and solve any problems or issues that arise relating to the DAE Program.  Part of the Team will include a POD Unit which will act as the liaison between the EOC, the Hotline and the POD Management Teams.  The POD Unit will help coordinate all POD logistics and solve any issues related to PODs.  Strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills are necessary.  The DAE Command Team may be located off site from the EOC.

Anyone interested in serving as EOC Support Staff or on the DAE Command Team should email the DAE Program Coordinator.
