Miami-Dade County is focusing on what's important to its residents - and getting results. According to a 2008 Resident Satisfaction Survey, conducted by an independent research firm, overall satisfaction with Miami-Dade County government is growing.
We've seen increased customer satisfaction with water & sewer, public safety, communication, solid waste, and other services. The results buck a national trend where other large cities and counties are showing declines.
We realize we are far from perfect, but we are moving in the right direction. Local government is working everyday to deliver programs services better and faster. The 2008 Resident Satisfaction Survey, in conjunction with previous surveys conducted in 2003 and 2005, help us better understand residents' wants and needs and adapt accordingly.
