North Terminal Phase I, scheduled to open to the public in the first week of November 2009, comprises 290,000 square feet of completed construction that includes: a new ticket counter area for American Airlines; two new security checkpoints that will replace the current C-D checkpoint and provide faster access to newly completed gates; and new curbside space for curbside check-in.
