Moving Toward Homeownership

North Dade Housing Fair - March 17, 2007


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Miami-Dade Affordable Housing Foundation, Inc. in partnership with Congressman Kendrick B. Meek; Barbara J. Jordan, Vice Chairwoman, Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners, District 1; Vice Mayor Oscar Braynon II, City of Miami Gardens; Opa-Locka Rotary Club; and the Dade County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta will sponsor a North Dade Housing fair on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Florida Memorial University, 15800 NW 42 Avenue., Miami from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

The fair will allow potential homebuyers in our community to have their credit pulled and evaluated by one of our lending partners. Families will then be placed in our Homebuyer Education Workshops which start March 2007. These workshops will be provided to clients free of charge.

All Housing professionals are invited to participate in this event to promote their businesses, and the services they provide to potential homebuyers in Miami-Dade County.
