The GIS Users' Group is a forum for introducing new technology and processes to the GIS User Community. It allows developers and users to discuss the status of current GIS projects, enterprise-wide as well as departmental. Additionally, it provides a vehicle to coordinate issues of common concern, encourage data sharing, promote training opportunities, and present information on current events.
Attendees and members of the group include governmental agencies, local colleges and universities. The group is open to all GIS users and provides a great networking opportunity.
Meetings are held quarterly and include guest presenters from the GIS Community and often application demonstrations.
