Upcoming meeting announcement

The GIS Users' Group meeting was held in Conference Room 18-3 of the Stephen P. Clark Center, located at 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, Florida 33128. This meeting took place on June 26, 2009 from 9:00am to 12pm. Lots of interesting topics were discussed. Hope to see you in the next one!

The GIS Users' Group is a forum for introducing new technology and processes to the GIS User Community. It allows developers and users to discuss the status of current GIS projects, enterprise-wide as well as departmental.  Additionally, it provides a vehicle to coordinate issues of common concern, encourage data sharing, promote training opportunities, and present information on current events.
 
Attendees and members of the group include governmental agencies, local colleges and universities. The group is open to all GIS users and provides a great networking opportunity.
 
Meetings are held quarterly and include guest presenters from the GIS Community and often application demonstrations.
