Carlos A. Gimenez was first elected to the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners on November 2, 2004. He was re-elected for a second term without opposition in August 2008.  As Commissioner for District 7, he represents numerous municipalities, including the City of Miami, the Village of Key Biscayne, the City of Coral Gables, the City of South Miami, the Village of Pinecrest, as well as areas of unincorporated Miami-Dade County.

Commissioner Carlos A. Gimenez is urging Miami-Dade County residents to participate in programs created by Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) and learn about new requirements for obtaining a driver's license.
