 Description: An evergreen tree with a pyramidal shape, slow growing, dense canopy with glossy dark-green leaves. Fruit is brown in color. Pulp is light brown to reddish orange, very sweet, and smooth to slightly gritty. Fruit matures primarily from May to September with some production year round.
Size: Medium to large tree (25-35 ft. Can be pruned to keep sizes smaller.
Location: Plant 25 feet from power lines, and 15 feet from your house. Plant in full sun.
Salt tolerance: Moderate.
Watering: Water during planting and for one year thereafter (see watering schedule in "Dig In Miami-Dade County" booklet). May need to water during fruiting if under drought conditions
Fertilization: Water during planting and for one year thereafter (see watering schedule in "Dig In Miami-Dade County" booklet)
Pruning: Wait for at least two years to do any pruning. Remove stake after one year. Check ties to make certain they are not too tight.
