Location: Plant at least 20 feet from power lines, and 10-16 feet from your house. Require full sun to part shade. Well suited for wet areas.
Salt tolerance: Medium salt tolerance.
Watering: water during planting and for one year thereafter (see watering schedule in "Dig In Miami-Dade County" booklet). Usually doesn't need additional watering after one year except during a long drought.
