    Fluorescent Lamp Recycling
Description of Service Under the current primary contract (see below) for these services, the following items are acceptable for recycling:
    • Fluorescent lamps/bulbs (straight, U shaped, or circular)
    • High Intensity Discharge lamps/bulbs

Note: Under Florida law, proper management of fluorescent lamps is a requirement. Recycling is the preferred option.

    Procedure

    1. If the department is on the Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) then they need to issue a release to the vendor
    2. If the department is not on the BPO and wants to be added they must provide a Contract Modification Form to DPM.  If it’s a one time pick up then a Small Purchase Order (SPO) referencing the contract can be used.
