Even if damage from the spill is avoided, the incident presented an opportunity to mobilize quickly and develop and refine cleanup plans.

    USING LESS GAS IS GREENER

Save money, cut emissions and reduce engine wear

    * Turn off your car to save gas while waiting for a passenger.
    * Use your vehicle less: use mass transportation or ride a bike.
    * Do all your errands in one trip or while driving to and from work.
    * Keep up with your vehicle's maintenance schedule to save gas, reduce emissions, and prolong the life of your car.

Come back next week for more green ideas, and check out some more green tips.
